Sodium feldspar

Sodium feldspar, also known as albite feldspar, is a mineral raw material used in the ceramic, glass and other industrial sectors. Its main technological value is related to its sodium oxide content, which helps reduce the melting temperature of the batch, improve sintering and increase the strength of finished products.

In ceramic production, sodium feldspar is used as a flux. It contributes to the formation of a glassy phase during firing, improves the density of the ceramic body and helps achieve more stable physical and mechanical properties. The material is widely used in the production of ceramic tiles, sanitary ceramics, technical ceramics and other products where strength, structural uniformity and controlled firing behavior are important.

Advantages of Sodium Feldspar

  • reduces the melting temperature of the raw material mixture;
  • improves the sintering process of ceramic bodies;
  • increases the mechanical strength of finished products;
  • helps form a dense and uniform material structure;
  • suitable for ceramic, glass and sanitary ceramic production;
  • can be supplied with different chemical compositions and particle size distributions.

Applications

Sodium feldspar is used in the production of ceramic tiles, porcelain stoneware, sanitary ceramics, glazes, glass and other materials where a stable mineral component with fluxing properties is required. It is especially important for manufacturers that need to control firing temperature, sintering degree, strength and the final appearance of finished products.

Suitable for the Following Industries

  • ceramic tile and porcelain stoneware production;
  • sanitary ceramics production;
  • technical ceramics production;
  • glass industry;
  • production of glazes and ceramic bodies;
  • manufacturers that require a stable flux for batch composition adjustment.

We offer sodium feldspar of various chemical compositions and particle sizes, depending on your production requirements.
